The conditions printed on your permit are the rules. Read them before you cut. General guidance only; the permit is the authority.

We haven't been able to read this district's permit yet. Its printed conditions, including the tree limit and where you can cut, are the rules to follow.

Where you can cut

Official maps and area permits from the district. Boundaries on these maps are the ones that count.

Before you go

Will it fit?

The classic mistake is a tree that looked small in the bush. Enter your ceiling height.

Try 8, 8'6", 9 ft or 2.4 m.
